About Twinkle
Twinkle J. Mathew, the founder of the company has over 17+ years of experience in the Information Technology Industry, having worked in various roles ranging from hands-on developer to Senior IT Management heading a large IT team and domains that include Banking, Insurance and Telecom. He has over 7+ of experience in the banking domain in technology leadership roles, having worked for leading banks in the Dutch Caribbean Island of Curacao. In addition to experience in Strategic and Operational IT management, Twinkle also has expertise in Enterprise data integration and Microsoft SQL servers, having designed and developed various complex enterprise level solutions. While working in the IT industry, Twinkle developed keen interest in understanding business as well as to see how IT can contribute to further develop this. He then decided to persue an MBA in order to learn more about business and business management and selected UoC (former UNA) Masters program in Business Management that combines business & technology management . This knowledge and skill-sets helped him in further tuning his ability to understand and translate business needs into technology requirements, bridging the business-technology gap.
Realizing the growing need of IT as business enabler and the shortage of IT professionals that understand business, Twinkle decided to start his own consulting practice to help organizations align and enable business with technology.
Believe that knowledge is power, and that it is important to give back to the society , Twinkle actively participates in pro-bono activities and is the Member of the Board of ISACA Curacao Chapter, a not-for-profit global IT organization with 140,000 members across 185 countries including Curacao. ISACA Curacao Chapter is the award winner for ‘World’s Best Small Chapter’ three times, in 2015, 2016 and 2018 by ISACA global.
Within 4 years since establishment, ZION TECH acquired clients across four countries – Curacao, Sint. Maarten, USA and Panama.
